I have always wanted to create a blog, talk about anything, everything and also keep track of things. well mostly for keep track of things like assignments. so when I havent been blogging or updates on my assignment, you guys can nag me to update on my awesome design work. so I guess this is it, first entry, first day back to being a good student.
I love browsing in grocery store. I can spend hours in there looking through stuff, even though I know I have everything I needed. there are just so many things to see and every time, it makes me want to try out all the foods or condiments, sauces whatever is in there, well only the things can be eaten. I have to say Asian grocery is the best, maybe i'm grew up with the flavour but the varieties is just unbelievable. There are just so many to choose on, and the junk foods too.
Got my first assignment. we have to take photos of 5 to 6 objects and arrange them on a coffee or side table to create a visually balanced arrangement. And then we have to sketch five times using different design element as a basis for each drawing; line, colour, shape, texture and tone. I'm not really thrilled about it, because I can't use magazines or online images, all images have to be taken physically. such a pain in the arse really. Do you know how much trouble I have to go through, like I have to make sure I take the photo at the right angle and no stuff on it so that I don't have to figure out how get rid of it using photoshop and my very limited skill in photoshop, plus I'm not sure what style i'm gonna go for or colour palette.
